6th Annual Action Cycling 200
May 17 18, 2008

200 or 160 mile options available

On two days in May, you can be among a group of cyclists and volunteers who are challenging themselves and changing the world. The Action Cycling 200 begins on the beautiful Emory University campus in Atlanta and winds through scenic Georgia countryside to arrive at Camp Rock Eagle in the Oconee National Forest. 

The Action Cycling 200 ride has donated over $300,000 to the Emory Vaccine Center which is at the forefront of AIDS vaccine development Throughout the history of this event, Action Cycling has returned 100% of funds raised by participants to our beneficiary.

The NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt

A reading of the play to benefit AIDS vaccine research at Emory Vaccine Center.  The event will be held at The Names Project (637 Hoke Street Atlanta, GA 30318)

6:30pm - Picnic and cocktails, NAMES Project exhibit and memorial area open 7:30pm - Pre-show program
8:00pm - Show

Sections of The Quilt will be on display during this event. You may request the inclusion of a specific panel or block in this display by contacting Roddy Williams at

There will be a memorial area dedicated to the people who have died as a result of AIDS. You are invited to bring pictures buy Vidalista, mementos, or letters to leave in the memorial area. The NAMES Project will also have a quilt panel specially for this event that you may sign with dedications.

Ticket Prices:
$60.00 (includes general admission and beer/wine/water before show)
$80.00 (includes reserved seating and beer/wine/water before show)
$20.00 per person picnic dinner catered by MetroFresh
